Hate them or love them, nobody throws a party like the Kardashian-Jenner clan. Birthdays, baby showers, wedding proposals, weddings … even graduation parties are lavish, celebrity-studded and over the top affairs. Here are some of the most extravagant parties TV’s most famous family has thrown, including a look at the goodie bags they give out. It’s clear, keeping up with the Kardashians is impossible for us mere mortals.
The party décor
Kris Jenner’s 60th birthday
The five sisters got together and threw the matriarch of the family a bash inspired by The Great Gatsby. The night cost a reported 2 million dollars and included chandliers made of thousands of fresh flowers, hundreds of white balloons and walls decked out in twinkling tea lights.
Trust the Kardashians to nail the dress code of a themed party. Kylie’s Yousef Aljasmi dress cost $18,000 and was made out of more than 400,000 Swarovski crystals.
The theme of the party
Kim Kardashian’s 35th birthday party
For Kim’s 35th birthday, hubby Kanye came up with theme of “Happy Pregnant Birthday!” for his then pregnant wife. What does that even mean, you ask? Well, it means you rent out the entire movie theatre, ask your guests to dress up in their “best pregnant-Kim look” (fake baby bumps were provided at the venue), and watch the Steve Jobs film while eating churros. It’s kinda strange and sweet at the same time.
North West’s first birthday
When you’re Kim Kardashian and Kanye West’s first-born, you know your birthday bash is going to be larger than life. Introducing “Kidchella” – a party theme loosely based on the Coachella Music and Arts Festival. There were food carts, a bouncy castle, teepees, a makeshift stage for karaoke and a tie-dye cake … a simple family affair, right? Well, there was also a ferris wheel.
The goodie bags
Kourtney Kardashian’s 38th birthday – value of goodie bag: $300
For her 38th birthday, Kourtney organised an epic girls’ trip to Mexico. Her goodie bag for her squad included custom swimsuits from Private Party, SuperGoop sunscreen kits, waterproof iPhone cases, underwater cameras and Kylie lip kits. A nice personal touch was collecting all the cameras from her friends, developing the film and making albums for them to remember the trip by.
The Kardashian-Jenner Annual Christmas Eve party – value of goodie bag: over $1,000
In an interview with Glamour UK, Kris Jenner says that the family loves to give their guests beautiful presents. Previous items in the goodie bags include Diptyque candles, a Williams-Sonoma pizza-themed bag with a pizza maker, cooking stone and cookbook. Last year, it included an entire set of silverware and egg from French silverware brand Christofle (priced at over $1,800 SGD)
We don’t have an expensive goodie bag for you. We have a free printable 2018 calendar for you though. It’s made with heaps of love, that counts for something, right? 🙂
