Where to get dog birthday cakes in Singapore … cos your furkid deserves it!

Some people might think you’re crazy for wanting to throw your dog an epic birthday party. But hey, haters gonna hate, right? We say, go all out. There are tons of cool ways to celebrate your furkid’s birthday such as organising a pet’s cruise but what’s a party without cake, right? Whether you’re looking for a savoury cake, a decadent sweet treat, a healthy bake that suits your dog’s dietary requirements, or of course, a beautiful custom design, these dog bakeries in Singapore can do the job.

1. BARKING GOOD

Barking Good‘s head baker, Dionne Sim, is a volunteer dog-walker with the SPCA and is certified in Pet Nutrition by the Animal Behaviour College so she definitely has the chops to make the perfect pawcake. You can choose from either pork, beef, chicken, lamb, or vegetarian for the base of your cake and some options have vegetable based frosting. You can add a message and even have the cake modelled after your own dog’s personal markings. Personal cakes begin at $23.00, party cakes at $55.00 and they have a wide range of other products available too, with bundles starting at $50.00. Barking Good has no fixed operating hours, although they are closed on Wednesdays, so you need to call ahead to place an order or drop by the studio.

2. BOSSIPAWS

Bossipaws is an extension of the dog-friendly Ah B Cafe and specialises in cakes and treats for your furry little friend. The cake menu is quite a simple one with chicken, pork, or salmon, all available on a rice base if you like. Otherwise, there’s a peanut butter cake. All are available with vegetarian frosting and small cakes begin at $18.00, medium at $34.00 and a large one will set you back a minimum of $46.00. You can even have a clay figurine customised for your cake, as well.

3. COBAM CAKES

CoBam Cakes has been making houndcakes since 2012 and they’re doing it right. The business is named after their own dogs, Coco and Bam Bam, and they go out of their way to make sure all of your needs are met. Using non-GMO ingredients and avoiding preservatives, CoBam Cakes can whip your pooch up either a customised spongecake or meatloaf. They are even able to cater for pups with gluten and dairy allergies. Prices start at $45.00 and you can choose from a variety of themes or spend a bit extra and just have the cake modelled after your own dog.

4. PAWLICIOUS PET BAKERY

Since March 2013, Pawlicious Pet Bakery have been crafting cakes for pups and have made a point of not using any butter, sugar, salt, preservatives, artificial colourings or flavourings. Pawlicious customises their spongecakes, made from organic wholewheat flour, yogurt, and honey, as well as loaves made from the meat of your choice, to any breed’s appearance. They are also able to accommodate special requests for dogs with dietary needs. Prices start at $29.90 for a small meatloaf cake and special Paw-ty Packages are also available from $99.00, but you need to make all orders at least five days in advance. Also, there is free delivery on orders over $80.00, except for the west side and Sentosa.

5. THE BARKERY SINGAPORE

If you want a simpler for your option furkid’s barkday party, then you should try The Barkery. You can have a cake made for your dog using either a meat, fish, or vegetable base, but custom options are available too. Pupcakes, which are muffin-sized meatloaves with your choice of vegetarian frostings, cost just $4.90 each, while full-sized cakes begin at $22.00.
