So you don’t want to blow money on renting a professional photobooth setup for your next party. Well, fret not. We found these photo booth apps so all you need to do is set up your phone or iPad on a tripod, and let your guests go cray.
This app allows you to create vintage-style photo strips. You know, they look like the ones people apparently used to take in real, physical photo booths back in the ‘50s. Using the app is simple – take four photos in a row with your phone (you have about two seconds between each shot) to form a strip. You can choose to autosave all the photos into your camera roll so you can share them with your guests via email, Facebook or Twitter. You can also opt to wirelessly print the photos directly within the app with an AirPrint-enabled home printer.
Custom Booth might be a bit more expensive than Pocketbooth Photo Booth but it is worth it if you love documenting your parties.
Custom Booth allows you to create, save and manage an unlimited number of photo booths. The settings screen is easy to use. From there, you can edit the text, fonts and you can also pick from a number of photographs to use as backgrounds to the pictures.
Best of all, your guests can write messages to you by using their fingers or the iPad’s keyboard so it doubles up as a guestbook as well. Guests can email themselves the image or at the end of the event, you can combine all the photos and messages into one composite image and email it to everyone.
The app also allows you to print 4” X 6” pictures with an Airprint-compatible printer.
This app is great for kid’s birthday parties. Take a photo directly from the camera. It detects your face and auto crops it. Just shake the phone to see what you look like supersized. Share the photos via Facebook, MMS or email so the kids have a cute memento from the party. By the way, this developer has other variations of this novelty app including AgingBooth and BaldBooth.
